I use this on my alpha 850. I like its low weight and small size. But in pixel peeping it's not that sharp outside of the center even stopped down and has too much chromatic aberration (although that can largely be fixed with software).

Sony has been hard at work expanding the library of lenses for its full-frame mirrorless camera system. The FE 28mm F2 ($449.99) fills a sizable gap—it's the first prime lens with such a wide field of view, and it's also the most affordably priced lens in the lineup. There are two conversion lenses available for it as optional add-ons, and it's quite light to boot. But the low cost and light weight don't come without compromise. The lens does show a lot of distortion when shooting Raw, edges are muddy until it's stopped down to around f/4, and I really wish it focused a little bit closer.
