I got it set up but could not get Time Machine to connect. I loaded other files without any issues. But when I tried to connect to the web interface the next day it would not let me connect. I ended up resetting the NAS twice and after the second time I could not access the web interface at all.

Good value for money, set-up was okay. Bought mainly for macOS Time Machine back-ups and music server for playing on my multi-room Sonos set up. Does both well, cheaper than my previous Synology NAS which lasted well but I didn't use all of the feature hence went for this to save cash.

Works great - using this as a backup drive and media server. I disabled the RAID mapping (took 30 seconds) to double the storage (I also keep off-line backups so that was overkill for me). Seemless interface across my home network - and some of the disk is accessible over the Internet.

Pretty much plug and play. Easy and stress free installation. Usability is 10/10. Works flawlessly with two WD 4TB 5400RPM HDDs

lack of documentation for official 3rd party apps; very limited choice of 3rd party apps; no calendar system to replace google calendar

a little harder to use on win7 and earlier systems.. best on win 8.1 or win10... nice though, on an all hard wired network it is a handy unit and super affordable!
