Just bought my third one for downstairs. I am in love. Despite other people's reviews, this unit is quiet! In both fan and heater mode (even when operating in Max it is still quieter than anything I have ever owned).

As a 'hot + cool fan' this product does very little. It does not cool and heats slightly. It just blows the air that is in the room. A ceiling fan does a better job for cooling, and they are much cheaper.

As a heater, this just fails to do anything. It blows luke warm air at best and just doesn't cut it for a fan/heater costing this much money. I'm sure it will work as a fan, cos it can't blow hot air so it must be able to do cold air. I wish there was a money back offer on satisfaction, I would have put in for it and bought a couple of the other heaters on display.

i'm not happy with this product ,it's not doing the job .

I purched this so called top of the line product and what i got was a heater that did not work. For something at this price level you would think it worked when you got it. The cold air and a timer to turn off were excellent. Now i have to wait for a replacement while i freeze. Maybe not so top of the line product as i thought.

It does not cool and barely heats.. just circulates the air in the room. That’s all it does! You can something around $100 that will do the same job. Looks nice though if that’s what you like

For what you get, the heaters are expensive and I wouldn't purchase again. I bought two at the same time because of their perceived quality but one was very noisy and had to be returned for a replacement.

If your remote is lost, your unit is useless. For the price, I believe you should have the option of operating it with or without a remote. I have lost the remote many times and then panicked because I have this very expensive heating/cooling unit that would be useless unless my remote was found.
