Just bought my third one for downstairs. I am in love. Despite other people's reviews, this unit is quiet! In both fan and heater mode (even when operating in Max it is still quieter than anything I have ever owned).

I am totally satisfied with this product. It works really well in what was a very cold bedroom despite having other heaters in there. I set it to the maximum temp (as we had to do with lesser brands) and left the room for a few minutes and it was roasting when I returned!

Happy with it; no complaint! Have had several Dyson Heaters now. Always fancy its quality. Prefer the darker colour. Just a bit missing the feature where you can ALSO do temperature adjustment and other functions on the HEATER itself as well as the remote control...

Unless you're the most devoted Dyson loyalist, you'll find much better values if you shop around -- including Dyson's own AM05.

The Dyson AM09 Hot+Cool performed very well in our tests; and offers a distinctive; functional; feature-rich design.

Though very solid, the AM09 doesn't outperform much cheaper competitors by a wide enough margin to justify the price difference; If you misplace the remote, you'll be unable to access common controls like oscillation and the sleep timer.

If you're looking for a space heater that comes with all of the bells and whistles, this is the perfect choice

As a 'hot + cool fan' this product does very little. It does not cool and heats slightly. It just blows the air that is in the room. A ceiling fan does a better job for cooling, and they are much cheaper.
