We use this Fan in our bedroom at night time. It creates an amazingly fresh room year round. It generates just enough sound to be like u201cwhite noiseu201d. Tried sleeping without it on the colder nights but the quality of sleep was just not the same. Very easy to keep clean.

Bought this as had enough of the extremely humid nights keeping me awake. My conventional fan was too noisy to keep on all night. This is much better than my fan on lowest setting, still makes an audible noise however, but got used to it in the end.

Extremely efficient; There are none

I'd read mixed reviews of Dyson fans, some saying they're no better than a bog-standard cheap fan. WHAT THIS FAN IS AMAZING - SUPER QUIET & SO EFFECTIVE!! We can finally sleep well in our loft bedroom in this heatwave (temperatures in London sometimes 25C even at midnight).

Expensive fan but so much quieter than those with blades. Used at night in recent hot weather and so quiet it did not disturb our sleep. One real problem is the brightness of the display which can't be dimmed at night and is so bright it partially illuminated the bedroom - a pair of black socks...

I have two of these fans. An older model that does not have the remote and this one with it. What a great feature this is! These fans work wonderfully to move the air without that 'in your face' constant stream that comes from ordinary fans.

We bought this to keep our kitchen cool. We don't have a direct AC vent in the kitchen and rely on the one in the family room. When the oven is on it can get quite warm and using this keeps us from having to turn the AC down in the rest of the house.

Another case of you get what you pay for. Though it's expensive it's quiet and is perfect for the tabeltop where i'm working. Quality item that's simple to use and simple to clean. Thumbs up.

Because of the high cost in comparison to other fans, I waited a long time before purchasing. I have 2 huskies who are very curious and I never put a fan on the floor for fear they would be injured. I had no qualms about putting this on the floor. It's quiet and it really moves the air.

Professionals and users alike say the Dyson AM06 10 Inch Desk Fan is worth its high cost. Though it's small, its 419-cfm airflow is powerful enough to cool a good-sized room without making a lot of noise. It also has a wealth of handy features.
