Effective, good value, upgrade

Crucial SSDs have an established reputation with Mac users. This one went into a late 2010 MacBook Pro without problems (it was a snug fit without the supplied spacer - it's not really an adaptor - so I didn't bother with it).

Crucial MX100 Affordable Solid State Drive Review

Crucial has been on a tear as of late. In the last few weeks alone, the company has released a couple of new series of solid state drives, one targeting the enthusiast segment ( the M550 ) and the other targeting data centers ( the M500DC ).

Strong Performance; Affordably Priced; Spacer and Imaging Software Included

Excellent value

Does what a sizeable SSD should do but for a bargain price. Unbeatable combination of capacity and response time.

Crucial MX100 512GB Solid State Drive Review

I have been following technology for quite a while and in that time I have witnessed the birth of solid state drives and many companies bringing them to the masses. When they first came out like all new technology they were very expensive.

– Price; – Good performance; – Acronis True Image HD included; – 3year warranty

– None that I found

Crucial MX100 Review: An SSD for the Masses

The SSD market is perhaps the most dynamic and competitive of any in today's IT industry. It can change rapidly, requiring a flexible and long-term strategy from its players. Those who fail to follow its trends may quickly find themselves outplayed.

The New Standard

This specific drive is the official nail in the coffin for traditional hard drives. I've successfully installed drives of this exact model into 41 different computers between work, home, and charity work, and none of them have given me any issues at all.256gb is the realistic minimum size hard drive...

Great Priceperformance; Low power consumption; Reliable; Versatile

Wo-hoooooooo!

i added this drive to my mid 2009 aluminum macbook pro, along with a new LB1 battery, and 8g corsair ram, and let me tell you…hot dayumn! i mean…DAYUMN! let's go another five years and see what $250 will do for this mac!

good price; good brand; solid construction; fast! fast! fast!

none! i'll leave that for the benchmark pros; but seat-of-the-pants analysis says this drive is easily twice as fast as stock

My fourth Crucial SSD. Hard to beat these guys in the performance per dollar race. Popped one of these into an Ubuntu server, boot times are 3-4 seconds now.

Excellent Price; Fast; Power Failure Write Protection; Free Migration Software

Sata cable would be a nice touch
