I really love this lens, I have not fully been able to utilize it in many various situations yet but so far I can tell its a great lens and I think its one of my new favorites.

The Canon EF 35mm f2 IS USM is one of best fast lenses for available light photography rendering a beautiful bokeh!
ver fast AF good IS wide aperture + IS = great for available light
Missing lens hood; expensive add on
The widest aperture Canon lens with image stabilisation makes this a very tempting design - and almost all reviews I've seen are good or very good. Given its lightweight construction, it feel solid; the IS is excellent, allowing shots of half a second or longer.
Great Features; Great Picture Quality; Lightweight
No Hood Included
Nice lens very sharp works great on my Canon 7d mark 2 gives me about 56 mm have tryed it out in many situations very pleased with it .
Excellent lens but little pricey for it's specification. There are other lens like sigma 35mm or sigma 18-35mm f1.4 with same price and better quality. I ay buy it again if price is down in $500 range.
Good picture quality in low evening light
Price
For several years now, Canon engineers have been reworking its original, high-speed, full-frame, wide-angle prime lenses for pros, bringing them up to current standards in optical quality, materials, capabilities, and features.
This is my go-to lens when I want high IQ in every situation and to travel light. It is good focal length in cropped sensor cameras and wide in full frame.
Handling and features This wide angle prime lens from Canon sports a fast maximum aperture of f/2, an ultrasonic focus motor and image stabilisation. This lens is currently available for around £765, which seems a little steep.
Fantastic lens, only downside is the vignetting is very heavy (using it on a 5DM3), obviously this is an easy fix on Lightroom etc, but still, its annoying. Sharpness is great, but nothing mind blowing, distortion is minimal, bokeh is nice, but a little jittery, not quite the smoothness you get from...
After I got the 14mm L 2.8 (worst deal ever) I do my research before buying a canon lens. Specially an L series. This is a great lense for Group Shots. Unlike the 24-70 L 2.8 version I, this lens is sharp sharp almost corner to corner.
Consistent Output; Full Frame Sharp; Lightweight; Sharp; Silent Fast Focus
It Could Be 13 Cheaper; It Could Be 200 Cheaper; It Could Be 30 Cheaper
