Good product - overall
Good product however this is the 2nd I've bought as my first broke 1 month after the 2 year warranty ended (which given the short time lapse John Lewis would not honour) But as I love the cook pot I bought another to replace as couldn't live without

Amazing risotto. Unbelievable.
Love it. I have every kitchen appliance you can name. I already have a zojirushi, which I think is phenomenal to the point that I haven't made rice in this machine. I bought it just to make risotto. And my God, does it make risotto. It put my previous best to shame.

Love it !!!
The breville multi chef is fantastic ! I would use mine at least 5 times a week. Great for one pot cooking. My rice and risotto always turns out really well. I like being able to sear off my ingredients in the same pot before leaving to slow cook while I'm out for the day or overnight.

Very good device
I've used this for Risotto, Saute, low and high Slow cooker - and the results have been absolutely as fantastic as the other reviews. Fluffy Rice setting (steamer) is a bit of a nightmare. I'm looking at what I am doing wrong. you can't press the Rice/Steamer and walk away.

my Mother loves it
Gifted this for my mothers birthday. So far she's used the risotto function -which she won't stop talking about she loves it- the steamer and the rice cooker functions. She very happy with it would recommend

This apliance is magic, it has the brains to do the cooking for you.perfect steaming, slow cooking, rice, butter chicken, steak, soups, risottos the lot.deffintly a 5/5 from me.

My wife uses it daily for soups or rice or stews Unfortunatly on rice it always seems to bubble over past the lid and that means it runs down over the switches - we had some problems with one of the buttons sticking or not working until we figured out it was because of the rice water getting into...

Pros:
- I love the variety of things it can do -- steam, braise, slow cook, rice, risotto, stews, noodles, one-pot meals
- For people living alone, it is fantastic
Cons:
- My first one blew up after about 18 months, my second one lasted only six months before it stopped cooking
- The mechanical reliability needs to be improved
