I absolutely love this lens! Great for landscape/seascape, architecture and indoor photos. Since purchasing this lens last year it has never come off my 60D, lovely sharp and rich colors every time! A nice light but well built piece of glass!

The EF-S naming refers to S hort-back focus design which is only compatible to APS-C EOS SLRs starting with the EOS 300D (Digital Rebel). EF-S lenses feature a protruding rear element which requires a special mirror design to avoid a collision of mirror and the rear part of the lens.

I just bought this for my Canon EOS 80D, and have to say, that it is impressive. An ultra wide-angle zoom lens with amazing clarity and real easy to use. I have never experienced such focus capability, in such a wide angle.

I bought this over a year ago and have been extremely impressed. Most of my photography is landscape and travel so this has been immensely useful.

When I received the lens , it did not have a front lens cap. I was not packed very well especially considering that it is a camera lens. Not enough packing to stop it from knocking around in the box. The box was too large for the small lens. Luckily it was not damaged as far as I can tell.

Three aspherical lens elements, plus a Super-UD element, assure image quality. Its ring-type USM means fast and silent AF along with full-time manual focus. It focuses as close as 9.5 inches.

Bought this lens along with a Canon 20D from B&H a number of years ago. It has produced some of my best landscape images, with incredible image quality and color rendition. Took it on a trip through the Canadian Rockies a few years back and have some very memorable images to show for it.

So awesome! Came in perfect condition, very smooth, as new. Did not come with lens cover or cap. Would definitely recommend. Takes awesome pictures.

My favorite wedding photography lens for 10 years and I used it at over 500 events. I dropped it many times, dumped it in streams, and got the front element gunked with champagne, ice cream, and dog saliva. How I loved thee.
