I purchased my first 10-22mm in late 2005, soon after it was released. I fell in love with it as finding a wide angle for the 20D was next to impossible. It's not perfect, but it is well built and does its job.

The Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM provides a full-frame equivalent of 16-35mm because Canon APS-C DSLRs have a 1.6x crop factor. But this is only a 1mm difference from DSLRs with a 1.5x crop factor.

I just bought this for my Canon EOS 80D, and have to say, that it is impressive. An ultra wide-angle zoom lens with amazing clarity and real easy to use. I have never experienced such focus capability, in such a wide angle.

I bought this over a year ago and have been extremely impressed. Most of my photography is landscape and travel so this has been immensely useful.

My good lady wife just bought me this lens as an early present, and as we had just gone on holiday she had it delivered to a local Collect+ point; all worked a dream. The widest I had available prior to this was the standard 18-55, but WOW what a difference you notice with this lens.
