Apple iPhone XS Max Review

One of the most frequent criticisms we've heard about the iPhone X is that its 5.8-inch screen simply isn't big enough. Last year, big-screen lovers had to opt for the less fully featured iPhone 8 Plus to get the most real estate. Not anymore.
Pros:
  • Beautiful OLED screen
  • Strong performance
  • Great size for large screen lovers
  • Solid camera improvements
  • IP68 water resistance
Cons:
  • Expensive
  • Bad name
  • No included fast charging cable

Full disclaimer: I've had the Samsung Note 9 for slightly more than a month now, but haven't had the chance to go hands-on with the newly-launched Apple iPhone Xs Max. Most publications have only had a limited hands-on with the phone, and I've based my conclusions in this piece on tech specification...

  • Camera quality is excellent
  • Battery lasts a full day comfortably

iPhone XS Max review

The iPhone XS Max is something special. This is the first time Apple has really pushed its screen size boundaries, and by offering a huge 6.5-inch display it's made its smartphone line attractive to a new segment of potential customers.
Pros:
  • Screen great for gaming & movies
  • Camera is a strong offering
Cons:
  • Price: most expensive iPhone ever
  • Size can make it tricky to handle

Apple iPhone XS Max Review: The Best iPhone, Ever. Period.

The iPhones that you see this year are a succession to the evolution that Apple introduced last year-the iPhone X. Alongside the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus, which retained the design language that had been consistent to the years prior, the iPhone X was completely different.

Apple iPhone XS Max

Apple's newest iPhone XS is now available . But which do you pick: big, or bigger The XS comes in two sizes, and the bigger XS Max is a whole lot of screen. For the most part, that's its singular advantage. There's a reason Apple may not have called the XS Max the XS Plus.
Pros:
  • The iPhone XS Max has a big, brilliant display and a little more battery life than the XS
  • It benefits from the improvements that the XS also has: faster speeds, some durability and water resistance improvements, better camera and dual-SIM support
Cons:
  • It's so, so, so expensive
  • If the iPhone Plus models were too big for your hands, this one will be, too
