Apple iPhone SE 256GB Black MXVT2X/A review
For $399, it’s hard not to recommend the iPhone SE. It has fantastic build quality, great cameras, and one of the fastest processors currently available. But this all comes with the caveat that you like iOS, and don’t mind the restrictions that come with it.
Pros:

- LCD panel doesn't get super bright or dim No night mode Big bezels

The iPhone SE is a really smart phone (no pun intended) as it doesn’t have all the flashy specs and lacks the pizzaz of Android phones at this price but is still a better phone than competition. Why? Simply because no other phone will give you this level of performance in this price segment.

It's a tiny powerhouse of a smartphone
Pros:
- A13 Bionic processor is extremely powerful
- Camera improvements over the iPhone SE (2016) and iPhone 8 are significant
- $599 price tag is great
Cons:
- Looks exactly like the iPhone 8
- No Night mode
- Comparable Android smartphones are much better in some ways

Apple's new low-cost handset proves you can own a great phone without spending a small fortune.
Pros:
- A brand-new iPhone, with Apple’s fastest smartphone chip, for a price that starts at $400. Camera isn’t comparable to flagship phone cameras, but is still extremely capable. Supports fast LTE and Wi-Fi 6. The Home button makes a comeback! Wireless charging is a nice touch.
Cons:
- Relatively short battery life. Camera underperforms in certain settings. Weak speakers. Not 5G-ready. Not quite as durable as other newer iPhones. After months of using a larger phone, a 4.7-inch display feels small.

Value may be subjective, but it’s hard to argue that the new iPhone SE doesn’t shake up what’s reasonable to expect from a smartphone in 2020. Apple’s most affordable phone is recycling refined to art, a blend of old and new with a barely-believable $400 price tag.

- Single camera is solid but lacks features like Night Mode
