Another quality purchase from Harvey Norman, great products, great prices and even greater service.
"iPhone 8 Plus goes strong"
The new iPhone 8 Plus is similar to the iPhone 7 plus however the camera is better and also the phone has a crazy long battery life. I didn't plug my phone in for two days and I still had about 30% battery (I am not a heavy cell phone user however).- Sleek
- lightweight
- Large
- bulky with case on
Apple iPhone 8 Plus Review (Review Apple iPhone 8 Plus)
The iPhone 8 Plus may promise better augmented reality experiences than its smaller counterpart thanks to its dual cameras, making it the one you should buy.- Super-fast processor., Dual cameras., Wireless charging.
- Not the fastest LTE connections., Still a relatively low-res screen with a big bezel for the price.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus Camera Review
As with the iPhone X , improvements can be seen in camera performance and as for the overall performance of the phone in general, apps open up in no time at all and there's no lag. The screen is also excellent offering vibrant colours, good saturation levels and a really clear picture.- Fast and responsive
- Large screen
- Dual lenses
- Interesting portrait modes
- Decent battery life
- Looks great
- Photo quality is good
- Lacks a headphone socket
- Camera app is really basic
- Doesn't shoot in RAW
- Portrait modes are a little hit and miss
- Low light performance still needs some work (even though improved
- Expensive
Great for Weather Spotter!
I decided to try an Apple I-Phone after having a Galaxy S8 and I am so far impressed with the phone. I notice that the phone is very stable. No lagging and the UI is fast. I had to acquaint myself with the Apple layout, but I find it to be simplistic. The 5.5" display is good for me.- LONG Battery Life on Standby
- Nice colors displayed
- UI is Snappy
- Earbuds are excellent
- Dedicated Ring/Silence switch
- No Bloatware
- 11.4.1 Update
- Keyboard needs more symbols
- Glass Backing
- No SD Card slot
- Only one resolution option on Camera
- No Ringer Silent Icon
- Extra Step in deleting Messages
Used as demo Apple iPhone 8 64GB Gold (6 month warranty + 100% Genuine) review
Went away from apple to samsung... but now I’m back. Great phone but debating if I should’ve got the 8plus for size although still hard to justify price ... after having the smasung 8plus... it was quite the size difference. Still happy with Apples easy useability.
iPhone 8 review
Don’t let the iPhone 8 name fool you – this is very much the iPhone 7S, an incremental upgrade on the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 with a few additions here and there, but nothing to really wow you next to other smartphones in 2018.- Wireless charging is useful
- Glass rear is pleasing in the hand
- Camera is great at point-and-shoot
- Limited upgrade over iPhone 7
- Bezel-heavy design looks dated
- Battery only just lasts a day
Apple iPhone 8 Plus Smartphone Review
The iPhone 8 Plus offers slightly more than its smaller sibling . We are not only talking about the pure weight, which is substantial at more than 200 grams (~7 oz), but mainly the dual-camera. The display also features more pixels and you get 1 GB more RAM.- True-Tone display
- fast SoC
- great camera
- accurate GPS
- Bluetooth 5.0
- high Wi-Fi performance
- many LTE bands
- water and dust protection
- high build quality ..
- ..
- but big and heavy, storage cannot be expanded, only 12 months warranty, no stereo jack, only average speakers, display resolution could be higher, heavier than the predecessor, very limited NFC functionality
Apple iPhone 8 Plus
The iPhone 8 Plus is a curious case of a great smartphone that fails to excite.- Fastest phone you can buy today
- Brilliant 1080p display
- Stellar battery life
- Speedy camera with accurate focusing
- Dated design
- Low-light camera performance should have been better
- Sort of in no man's land
- thanks to the iPhone X
- Wireless charger has to be purchased separately
The launch of new iPhones is always a special event. So you can imagine our surprise when Phil Schiller actually rushed through the launches of the iPhone 8 and its elder brother, the 8 Plus, as he proceeded to what in the eyes of many was the real star of the show, the iPhone X.
- Great display and sound
- Superb cameras
- Generally smooth operation
- (Still) Expensive
- Slightly buggy software
- Dated and slightly bulky design
