I use this drive to provide Time Machine backups for the 3 Macs in the house. Two of my Macs have USB2 ports, so these ports dominate the write speeds to the disk. Even though the TM backups took 20 or 30 min each, these were the first time backups which amounted to 60-90GB.

wondering who had the idea to make such an ugly design maybe it's good; will not fall out from the hands; ;-

This hard Drive was easy to install an it works great with both My Mac at home and my PC at work. No hassle at all.

I always use "Passport" size external HDDs for backups and my old 2TB had not enough space anymore. This one has huge capacity for such a small box and will last for a few years. High recommendation.

I got this product in a sale, for me its a very good product at this price. According to me below is the major pros and cons of this device Pros: i)As description says this drive has 256bit encryption so I believe this is protected from others. ii)Drive looks good and sturdy.

I bought this drive to transfer files from my old Windows XP Professional Computer to my new computer running on Windows 10. Since Win XP can only see drives up to 2 Tb, I bought this small 1 Tb drive to make sure the transfer would go without problems. Was I wrong !!!
