Great Wifi
Just purchases this to replace the built in WiFi for an old HP Pavilion, running Win10 that no longer worked. Plugged it in and it started straightaway no need to install drivers from the CD. Fast and reliable, great range. One of the best $20 I've spent in ages, breathed new life into an old laptop.

Cheap, but overheats
It usually disconnected after a few minutes of heavy use, such as torrenting, streaming a movie from Hulu, or uploading a heavy amount of data to my server; sometimes it would disconnect randomly.
Pros:
- It was cheap
- and "just worked" when I plugged it into my Ubuntu laptop
Cons:
- At random times, the card would disconnect and not re-associate with the AP
- To get back on the wireless network, I'd have to unplug the adapter, and then plug it back in.

tl-wn821n
i bought this for an older computer so i could connect wirelessly. installation was a breeze, and i'm very pleased wtih its performance. i'm getting strong connection and very fast speeds using this.

Package came with device, software, and usb cable. Works right out of the box with Windows 7. Automatically installed necessary drivers. Hasnt failed me yet.

Works great!!
This adapter works great on Ubuntu with no hassle of installing drivers. The OS detected it automagically and get onto my wireless network. Definitely recommend this.

"Does the job but sometimes disconnects"
My wireless adapter arrived today, the packaging was very neat and the USB looked very stylish. On the box were very very easy instructions on how to install the driver on windows vista, XP and 7.
Pros:
- Cheap
- stylish
- decent connection
- easyish to set up
Cons:
- Hard to understand technical support
- disconnects randomly

i do not know if there is a fix for this problem i have the version 2.8 drivers does not work with my computer . it is a hassle to replug after every shutdown i have other tp-link product for my XP and it works great..

- this device did not properly install on win7 64bit
- this device did not reconnect after shutdown
- this device require to replug into computer after every shut down

Very Nice
Needed to make an old computer wireless, just plugged it in and it worked. Works great. I just move the old computer to the garage and still works great.

Not WDTV compatible!!
If you're like me and you're buying this to give your WDTV media player (Live, Plus, Hub, etc) wireless network, don't bother as Western Digital currently only supports v2 of the TL-WN821N and I think everyone shipping these things now (including Future Shop) is shipping v3.0 or v3.1 and that's

Rapid delivery. Worked perfectly and solved my wireless connectivity and speed problems. Much cheaper than other Wifi adapters available in retail shops.
