Easy to set up.

I have read several reviews describing a high pitched whine coming from this unit. I am happy to report that no such sound can be heard from it as it sits atop a shelving unit in my entertainment center.
Pros:
  • Easy to set up gigabit switch
  • Matches well with the Archer-C7 I purchased several months earlier
Cons:
  • None thus far

Does the job - to this point

Upgrade for a 10-100 switch. Out of the box and right to work. Children notice no change which is good. Wife's desktop now is using its nic to full capacity. Have 3 desktops, 2 laptops , 8 drops through out the house.

Pros:
  • Cheap Works Well Full 2 gbps capability
Cons:
  • No indicators to determine connection speed

This is better than I expected

Its a simple switch so easy to install, just plug in and use. Auto senses how to configure the port and goes. Nice surprise was how well made this is. Although the case is plastic it is good quality and it doesn't look or feel cheap. As black boxes go its quite simple and elegant.
