Had one for ages, can't imagine coffee without it

I've had this frother for a year+ it's still going. I make sure to clean the magnetic spinner inside, which clips off and clips back on again. Don't break the little comb hands or else it won't work as good. You can do cold mixing, hot and super frothy. Results of frothy milk will depend on your milk which naturally varies. Anybody that's worked as a barista will know this. People complain about not being able to do two different batches of milk quickly because there's a temperature lock out. I live on my own and my gf has her coffee hot so idk never encountered it. The cup is enough for 2 medium cups of hot milk so good for me. If you need more you might consider a full espresso machine with a steam wand, or idk go to a cafe? Don't put the jug in the microwave. If you're putting things in the microwave without checking they can microwaved then idk.

Easy to use

Takes a little longer to froth and heat than I expected but I got used to it. The only negative would be trying to read the marks for milk levels. Jug is very easy to clean.

It stops frothing after a few months

I really like the way this milk frother makes thick creamy milk for my coffee and it's very easy to clean. I don't like that it takes at least 10 minutes to cool before you can make another froth but I can live with that. The thing that bothers me is that after about three months it stops making thick froth. This has happened to me twice and I'm now on my third frother. Am I doing something wrong? What causes it to start making weak froth after about three months? Is there something I can do to make the product last longer?

Great to start with

I was initially so happy with this product. It worked really well & as it's only me who uses it, it's the perfect set-up. It wouldn't be useful for multiple users as it's too slow/cool down too slow. The disappointing thing is that the frother stopped working & the milk now only heats to luke warm. The mechanism underneath is so small that it seems to have worn out & just won't catch anymore. It's a pretty expensive purchase for a single function/use item that lasts a year at best. I used to consider Sunbeam a quality manufacturer but have recently had 2 of their products fail.
