The concept of a 36.4 mega pixel, full-frame, compact system camera is great. I was looking for a light, high quality product for travel photography - I'm really fed up of heavy cameras. Unfortunately, this is not the answer.

Im a video guy and I love using DSLR and Mirrorless cams when i travel so I don't get excess attention when filming, I also shoot corporate/ interview. and events. I tend to shoot at night/ dark environments and have come from the world of Canon cameras.

I know this is a video version of the A7 family. The video is amazing, but this pictures are the most sublime. Not just low light- everything is amazing. Plenty of resolution if you aren't a power cropper.

Auto Focus is it's only weak point; though as good or a little better than A7

the low light king - sony menus and battery life are terrible - buy a ton of sony brand batterys , the cheap stuff doesnt last very long after a few months - one of the best features is being able to zoom in to check focus while recording video
