Looking for closed, full-size cans This Shure sounds the most accurate and neutral for under £100

I was recently in need of closed headphones with a $100 budget and curious about what the market offers. I thought I might share my findings with someone in a similar situation. The Shure SRH440 turns out to be the most accurate, neutral sounding closed cans among the eight headphone models that I...

affordable professional quality headphones

Comfortable, robust and good sound quality . Others in small room can't hear me banging away my electric guitar with these plugged into amp.

Incredibly Bright.

This almost sounded like louder laptop speakers. Incredibly bright, without much low end to speak of. Some may like it, but I couldn't do it. The construction and quality is quite amazing. Really well built and designed. Incredibly comfortable.

Shure SRH440 Studio Headphones

These headphones are great. The bass response is excellent. Despite the fact that these don't use any sort of frequency interference to noise cancel, I don't here a thing but the music I listen to when i'm wearing them. I also think they are fairly comfortable, even for several hours at a time.

I bought these headphones because I wanted a high quality monitor that could isolate the noise and chatter of my surrounding (especially when I'm shooting concerts or wedding receptions). I also wanted to get double for my money as I needed something just as good to monitor my audio while editing.

Shure SRH440 Professional Quality Headphones

Headphones are very difficult to review. The head is such a difficult part of the body to place tech on that everybody's experience of the same tech will be different. I hated these earphones.

Upgrading from Sennheiser HD 203's to these. Completely worth the doubling in price. Sound is excellent but do require about a day of burn in, they sound far better afterwards. Very comfy to wear too.

Shure SRH 440 Headphones

It always pays to check your mixes using a decent pair of headphones as you'll often hear nuances that are missed when listening through your main monitors. Shure's new SRH 440s feature 40mm neodynamic drivers optimised for general listening and monitoring and have been finetuned to deliver accurate...
