I was reading reviews about overheating and gave this one a shot. Surprisingly this one does not but I'm not using this usb as a bootable OS, just a drive that contains files that are seldom used. Laptops nowadays uses SSDs as its hard drive.

Perfect size for my use

I like to keep a thumb drive in one of my ports on my Lap Top at all times. I have Quicken on it and use it for all my checking, savings and investment accounts. So I back it up every time I use it and don't want to have to keep looking for my backup drive.
Cons:
  • none

Really good memory, perfect small size

I bought this to use on my car stereo that has a USB port on it. It's worked great. The extremely small size on it makes it great for that use, adding no visual bulk to the stereo. Reliable product. Just make sure you don't lose it, as it's small size means it's easy to lose.

Cheap but expensive

I am disappointed with this disk. First, it is flimsy - all-plastic design, it takes effort to push kt into USB port because it is larger than other drives that I have. Second, there is no LED indicator - so you cannot see whet it is in use.

Just got it today(one day in advance)... ...

Just got it today(one day in advance)....A bit disapointed in the fact that the drive doesn't fit in the 3.0 usb hub on the left of my computer(Dell 15inspiron core i7)... fits perfectly in the one on the right (2.0)...but for the price I can live with that! Guess i'll have to live in a slower pace!

Used for a retropie

The thin profile of this works really well for a retropie since it doesn't stick out very much. Holds a ton of game roms as well. It gets a little hot, but most thin-profile USB drives do.

Seems to do ok

I bought this because my iPad was almost full and I didn't want to lose the photos I had on it without backing them up I got most photos off it and transferred them to my laptop, but it did get quite hot on the metal part when I was transferring them over and my wireless mouse wouldn't respond...

I bought this to have a low profile USB drive for my music in my car. Copying the files (.mp3) from my computer to this drive average only about 20 mB/sec, so 80+ GB took quite a bit of time. If you don't need fast R/W performance, this is a good value for the capacity.

small, good storage size. use it mainly for my UnRaid server as the OS. tons of space for dockers, plugins, etc. . it was one of the few recommended USB by LimeTech. No problems with formatting on Windows 10. it works well.
Pros:
  • small form factor
  • good storage size for NAS OS like FreeNAS and UnRaid
Cons:
  • sometimes
  • it's so small that I have a hard time to pull it out from the motherboard
