I bought this device because the description implied that it would be able to play stored video files via my home network. This is not so. In order to do something like this, Samsung require that all your PC's not only have a Windows operating system.but that you install Samsung Link software on...

Now it won't turn on, all troubleshooting to no avail. I've been a Samsung customer for years, but this has made me look elsewhere for my video needs.

Had this player about six months and find generally good but it will not always play bluray discs it will load but once you push play the screen says it is not supported, have looked on the web and this seems to be a general problem which Samsung has not sorted out todate.

Purchased 2 weeks ago, simple transaction online. Perfect match for my Samsung UHD. Plug it in and the tv does the rest. Easy. Size is small for an entertainment unit or tv stand.

I love this thing. I can't think of anything bad about it. I use it mainly to watch blu-rays and to watch movies on netflix. It connects to my wifi very easily.

Took player ( model no BH-H6500 ) out of box, very quick to set up. It comes with manual but also a quick set up guide which I used, it was easy and clear to understand.The unit is not heavy & a nice size.

This is the second BDH6500 that we have bought, having been impressed by the value for money, playback quality and features of the first. It sits in the kitchen where my daughter enjoys watching a Blu ray film while eating dinner.
