Very Impressive

Others have detailed this camera and all it's features so I won't repeat all that. I have been looking for the ultimate travel camera and I believe this is the one. I need a fast lens since I rarely use a flash and I very much enjoy all the "analog" controls on the outside of the camera for quick...

Panasonic Lumix LX100 Review

The Panasonic Lumix LX100 might be considered a natural evolution of the series. This, too, is a small compact that offers performance comparable with a compact system camera. Panasonic has moved the genre on by packing an even larger Micro Four Thirds sensor into a slightly larger body that offers...

Excellent manual controls; Great build; Great image quality and dynamic range

Oversaturated EVF; Slightly slow start-up; Susceptible to purple flare in highlights

An excellent small camera

I bought this mighty device so that I would not have to carry a full frame Nikon on a family holiday to Orlando. I needed a good quality, small camera that offered manual control. The LX100 seened to fit the bill. I bought it two weeks ago and now realise that it is far better than I had expected.

Bright LCD; Comfortable Controls; Good Size; Great Picture Quality; Strong Construction

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 Review: Awesome 4K Video, Retro Design

A retro design, 4K video and sharp photos make the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 a fantastic portable camera.

Beautiful and durable retro design; supersharp 4K video; quick autofocus; great color and detail in photos; solid low-light performance; superclear electronic viewfinder

Rear LCD is not a touch screen; no external mic jack; lacks built-in flash

I Got A Great Price. SMILE.

Pros: The Panasonic Lumix LX100 is a World Beater. Did a huge amount of research before I got it. Has not disappointed. I also have a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 that I got from BuyDig in September 2015. Cons: The 'kit' is OK. For the price it was not worth getting the camera alone.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 Compact Camera Review

Panasonic's LX100 is the top-of-the-line camera in the company's compact LX series. Compared to other LX models, it is the first camera with an MFT (Micro Four Thirds) sensor. However, the camera doesn't use the whole image sensor area of 17.3x13mm, so its crop factor is 2.2x instead of the 2.0x of...

+ Compact camera with a stylish retro design; + Large image sensor for a "compact" camera; + High-speed lens system; + High-resolution EVF; + Wi-Fi for data transfer and remote control; + High video quality (4K

- Missing swivel monitor; - No built-in flash (camera is supplied with external mini flash

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100

The Panasonic LX100 is a relatively compact premium digital camera. Its 16 MP Four-Thirds sensor, being used with a 2.2X crop-factor, rather than the usual 2X, delivers exceptional image-quality in multiple aspect-ratios while keeping an ultra-wide field-of-view most of the time.

Extremely low image-noise; Superb detail-retention; Ultra-wide field-of-view; Ultra-Bright F/1.7 - 2.8 maximum aperture; Excellent resistance to chromatic aberrations; Uniform lens brightness; Ultra-fast autofocus; Instant shutter-lag; Fast shot-to-shot speed; Smooth high-quality 4K Ultra-HD video,...

Below-average Auto White-Balance; Low color accuracy; Slow optical zoom; Half-press required for Exposure-Priority and correct Live-Histogram; Accident-prone EC dial and control-ring; 1s Filming delay; Poor tripod mount placement; Short battery-life

SLR-like qualityin a very compact package; traditional intuitive manual controls; professional build quality

This little camera with its large (4-thirds) sensor and Leica 24-75mm (full-frame equiv.) lens, gives IQ close to that achievable by most APS-C SLRs, and probably better than some of them. The large sensor gives excellent high-ISO performance.

Easy to use; Compact; Build quality
