Surprised!!!!

I've been watching movies on Netflix and my Xbox streaming 4K and Dolby Atmos content knowing I'm probably not quite getting the quality expected. I was happy until I bought the DP-UB820 as I can't believe how good the difference in picture and sound quality are over the hours of content I've consumed. Worth the buy!!!

Tidy Unit

Purchased this not too long ago after doing a lot of research on the web. I was primarily looking for a 3D Blu Ray player, not specifically 4K. But this unit is superb. The 3D is crystal clear and I can once again watch 3D movies after having to give up with the last player. The up scaling of standard blu ray is fantastic, much better picture even without 4K TV and it does wonders to DVD's. Whilst a little more expensive than others I am very happy i paid the extra

This Player is the best Player I have ever owned. The only down side is it will not play All Zones or Regions. The ability to fine tune your movies goes beyond that of other players. On a OLED C9 T.V. DVDs look Great , Blu Ray look Fantastic , Then 4k is Jaw Dropping. No SACD Support or DVD - A , But apart from that this Player Supports 2 USB Inputs. Twin HDMI Outputs one for Sound and the other Video , An wired Ethernet for those that need it as well as Wireless , One Optical Toslink , a provision for old school RCA 7.1. Plays the full Gamut of Surround Sound Codecs Dolby Atmos and DTS X. Both HDR 10 + and Dolby Vision are supported , Has the Second Generation HCX Chip { Picture Processing Engine } for the Hollywood Cinema Experience witch will improve Tone mapping of HDR Content giving it the ability to Extract the Detail of HDR. The player gives a Truly Immersive and Impactful Picture , All Colours are Vibrant and Punchy , this player has the same Chip as the Flag Ship

Worth the extra dollars

Owned this player for 3 months. Pared it to my Panasonic OLED and picture quality is amazing. I love the amount of tweaking that can be done on this. It has all the video feature set of the much dearer 9000,

Worth the money

Purchased this product after a lot of research, all the best useable features without the over expensive price tag, glad I did. Panasonic's attention to detail for a 4K player was spot on. My wife and I watch a lot of old series on DVD that are not produced in Blu Ray or 4K and boy does this machine upscale to a better than normal DVD quality just beautifully, and the sound quality is fantastic, guess part of that is due to the TV we purchased also. All our set top boxes and players are Panasonic and this like the others doesn't disappoint. Plug it in and off you go. Thanks for stocking it JB HiFi and thanks for producing it Panasonic
