It is simple to use and the quality is great. It is a significant improvement on the poor built in mic on my D300s. For the price it is great.

I bought this to use on a Nikon D600, in order to improve the quality of the sound when recording a baby. It's well built and simple to use, but you have to turn the recording level up very high on the camera in order to record baby gurgles.

Have onlyl used a couple times, once indoors and the others outside. Indoors fell short due to the audio source coming from the TV while the outdoors uses were much better. Price is a bit high however had the benefit of some extra funds after selling some photo's.

This Mic was designed to be used on an DSLR for Video recording. You would need a much more elaborate mixer mic system to get any better sound.

Very Good Sound Results; Well Designed

This mike serves it's purpose for me. It's a stereo condenser. I wanted an improvement over the on-board mike to get away from the AF and VR noise. This mike does not eliminate the noise, but cuts it down to a point where I can get a good sync in post.
