Logitech G203 LIGHTSYNC Gaming Mouse - Black 910-005790 review

The G203 has a good sensor and RGB lighting, but has an awkward size and is bested by others in its price range.

Logitech G203 LIGHTSYNC Gaming Mouse - Black 910-005790 review

It's a modest update, but Logitech's G203 Lightsync is a good budget-conscious choice for fans of small-shell mice.

Improved lighting options; Solid sensor specs for the price; Very affordable

Basically identical to the G203 Prodigy; Small for a palm-style grip

Logitech G203 Lightsync Review

Logitech's simplest gaming mouse just got a little bit flashier. The G203 Lightsync ($39.99) upgrades the company's G203 Prodigy with a little more room for RGB customization. If you're looking for a no-frills gaming mouse, the G203 (Lightsync or otherwise) is a decent choice. It's light and it's fast, and that's really all you need for most games. Are there areas where Logitech could have made some improvements? Definitely. But for the price, the Lightsync's high quality is enough to make it a safe entry-level pick.Let's Lightsync Up The G203 Lightsync is a simple wired mouse, and, since it's nearly identical to a mouse that's been around for a few years, it may look very familiar. Its buttons fall into the right-handed six-button gaming mouse layout: two clicks, a scroll wheel, and a DPI-preset select button in the central column. On the left side, you have two side macros. It's about as simple as a right-handed gaming mouse gets. In keeping with the general trend toward lighte...

Logitech G203 LIGHTSYNC Gaming Mouse - Black 910-005790 review

The Logitech G203 Lightsync is much like the G203 Prodigy: dependable, responsive, and light. The fact that the degree to which you can configure the onboard LEDs is the only distinguishing mark between the two means whichever you find cheapest comes out on top.

Logitech G203 LIGHTSYNC Gaming Mouse - Black 910-005790 review

The Logitech G203 is one of the best bargains in gaming mice, with a functional design and a low price. The G203 Lightsync is my very favorite kind of peripheral. It’s an inexpensive, no-frills accessory that has a particular goal in mind, and accomplishes that goal without any excess tinkering...

Sleek design, Light weight, Attractive lighting, Good performance

No extra features, Not truly ambidextrous

Logitech G203 LightSync review: A dependable low-cost gaming mouse

The G203 LightSync is the epitome of good value, delivering comfort, style, and performance without a hefty price tag. Its small size and ambidextrous design make it comfortable for all three main gamer grip styles. And while its 8,000 DPI proprietary gaming sensor won’t match the pointer performance you’ll get from more premium gaming mice, it’s still more than capable in just about every casual gaming scenario.

The Logitech G203 LightSync performs well in games and is both comfortable and affordable. Its RGB lighting adds a welcome splash of color to your gaming den.

A comfortable design that resembles more expensive esports mice; Sturdy and well-built; The RGB lighting really pops;

Some sensor lag was experienced with large, fast movements; The sensor’s lift-off distance is higher than some mice; The RGB logo on the top isn’t customizable;

Logitech G203 Lightsync Review

The Logitech G203 Lightsync is the perfect mouse for casual gamers on a budget. It's hard to argue with the raft of features on offer for the money, especially the decent 8,000 DPI sensor, uber-bright RGB lighting and comfortable shape. That being said, more competitive gamers should steer clear.

Jaw-droppingly affordable price; Decent performance for casual gamers; Comfortable design; Flashy RGB lighting is crisp;

8000 DPI too low for more advanced players; 2 RGB zones may be limiting for some; Design might be too narrow for large hands;

Logitech G203 LIGHTSYNC Gaming Mouse - White 910-005791 review

The Logitech G203 Prodigy is a good, affordable gaming mouse, with enough precision to handle mainstream games alongside decent buttons. It’s even got RGB LEDs. However, pricier rodents will have crisper, faster buttons, a larger, more ergonomic design and extra features.

Very affordable; Solid sensor and core button quality; Well-designed software

Some buttons are too soft and spongy; Underwhelming design; Quite small
