JBL GO 2 Wireless Speaker [Review]
Back at CES we got to see JBL's portfolio of portable speakers ranging from upgrades to their Clip series to the next iteration of the "Go". Go is a slightly different take on their Clip coming in a slightly different form factor and different setup of buttons.

Choosing a wireless speaker can be a daunting task, particularly if you don't have a big budget. The sheer volume of options available can make this a much harder task than it needs to be, but there tends to be one option that stands out for a lot of buyers.

JBL Go2 review: Small but large hearted
JBL Go2 is a compact bluetooth speaker about the size of a large pack of mints. It tries to play to the user demand for speakers that are really portable but still offer good audio quality. Despite its size the JBL Go2 is slightly heavy.

Harman, now a subsidiary of Samsung , launched the JBL Go 2 in India in May earlier this year. The launch of this waterproof speaker came at the right time, as the monsoon season commences from early June in most parts of India.
Pros:
- IPX7 water resistance
- Good mid-range
- Speakerphone capability
Cons:
- Lacks bass range

Cover The Spectrum Of Bluetooth Speaker Portability With The JBL GO 2 And Xtreme 2
On-the-go sound is practically a must in 2018. Sitting in silence would mean we have to confront the pain that is existence, which is simply unacceptable. Thankfully, JBL are here to save the day with two Bluetooth speakers - the pocket-sized GO 2 (RRP $49.95), and the handbag-sized Xtreme 2...

I actually purchased this speaker for in our bathroom to listen to music & podcasts while taking a shower and getting ready for the day. Its the ideal size to have sitting on a shelf or even the side of the sink, its small size and the fact that its waterproof are exactly what I was looking for.

JBL Soundgear
The JBL Soundgear doesn't look like anything that's come before it. It's what you'd get if you crossed a portable Bluetooth speaker with a wearable. In fact it kind of feels like someone at JBL HQ said, "I hear wearables are in now, lets bung some speakers into a wearable.
Pros:
- Decent sound quality
- Well built
- Relatively light
Cons:
- Uncomfortable
- Weak battery life
- Too much noise bleed
- Not cheap

JBL Go 2
JBL sells a wide range of wireless Bluetooth speakers and its Go line, now on the second generation Go 2, is the smallest and least expensive of the bunch. Truth be told, the original JBL Go speaker looked and felt a little like a toy speaker, weighing in at a mere 130 grams.
Pros:
- The JBL Go 2 is a very small wireless speaker that fits in a pocket and sounds decent enough for its tiny size
- Its design and sound have improved from the original and it's now fully waterproof
- Plus, it has speakerphone capabilities
Cons:
- It doesn't have all that much bass and its battery life isn't great at 5 hours
