Gaming accessories come in all shapes and sizes, including headsets, pro controllers, charging docks, and more. They aren't necessary, but they typically enhance and improve the gaming experience. Personally, headsets are my favorite type of gaming accessory, especially for online multiplayer games.

Can feel too snug at times

HyperX has hit a home run with the HyperX Cloud Mix headset. The headset is comfortable, well-designed, and sounds great, making it an excellent option for gamers that want a headset they can use in daily life too. There is a problem though - and that's price.

People who only care about the mobile half of the equation, and/or gym use, will probably want to stick to something like AirPods or Jaybirds, as the Cloud Mix's size, heat, and control limitations probably aren't balanced by the extra fidelity.

The HyperX Cloud Mix is a weird experiment, and one I don't think is entirely successful. It's expensive, the logo is obnoxious, and splitting the difference between wired gaming headset and mobile Bluetooth means HyperX doesn't really nail either market.

Bass. The final frontier. Well, it seems that way, with many headphones and gaming headsets these days tuned to a very bass-heavy sound that has the potention to reduce the overall realism of the sound while simultaneously making many users quite happy.

The HyperX Cloud MIX is the latest gaming headset from the range which has provided us with some of the absolute best ear-blasters in the business, and that from a company that actually made its name in RAM.

And if you simply want a pair of Bluetooth headphones for music, meanwhile, the Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT remains a fantastic value, and the Marshall Major III Bluetooth stands as another good performer.
