Google Pixel 8 Pro review
Smartphone launches always focus on the camera, and Pixel has always been there as one of the best. But in the Pixel 8 Pro, we're talking about something else. We're talking about progression beyond photography and into creativity I've never experienced.
Pros:
- Outstanding imaging offering, 7-year commitment to software updates, Wonderful display
Cons:
- Battery life is nothing special, Android 14 isn't hugely different ... yet

Google has gone all-in on Generative AI with Pixel 8 Pro, also giving you a thermometer that's always in your pocket.
Pros:
- Super Actua Display is really bright, Charging speeds get a much needed boost, Google does some crazy things with AI, Magic Editor is truly magic, The Bay blue color is simply stunning

- Battery life isn't the best, Temperature sensor is something you won't use much, Matte back is welcomed, but still slippery

The Google Pixel 8 Pro is the best Pixel that Google has ever made, and it represents Google’s vision for the future of mobile technology, though that vision does seem a bit clouded and unfocused at times.
Pros:
- Great materials and matte finish refresh the Pixel design, Call screening is natural and very useful, Incredible seven-year commitment from Google for major updates
Cons:
- Android settings and features are confusing and hard to find, Some AI features feel a bit creepy and impersonal, Cameras don’t beat the iPhone 15 Pro without editing help
