I would give this scanner five stars, if were not for the following: Others have commented that this is a "grey market" product and here is why that is important. First of all, I love the hardware. I did not love the Paper Stream software that came with it. I found it complicated and confusing.

Easy to install following included instructions, performance meets my clients needs.

I purchased this to replace an older model that gave us years of service. It is mostly used to scan in medical charts. I did have to contact customer service to help me tweak the settings as they had changed the interface and it was not obvious where to go to change certain settings.

LOVE this scanner. I deal with a lot of receipts (gas, store, parking), it takes ones as small as 1.5"x2" ! Can put all sizes together as a bunch to scan. If you have any issues with it taking more than one at a time, line them up as the smallest on the bottom to the largest being on top and kind of...

Exceeded my expectation.

I work in a medical office and we have to scan numerous patient records. This scanner is quick! Highly recommend if needing to scan a lot!

I had this scanner at my previous company and when I switched jobs, I made sure I had the same scanner. I used it originally to go paperless. We went from 6 legal files cabinets that were 4 feet wide and overflowing to paperless in 6 months. This scanned is intuitive and user friendly.

It works great, even for heavy use.
