Most enjoyable shooter campaign I've played in ages. Fast, fluid gameplay and fantastic shooting and melee mechanics. Levels are dripping with atmosphere, and are each quite large and full of secrets to find.

It was a lot of fun but not did not take me very long to complete. I completed 100% of the game(all missions, all challenges, found every secret and every collectable) and it only took me 24 hours of playing.

Doom is an excellent game that will make you feel like a total badass. I highly recommend it.

When i started the game it asked me to update it. The update file size was 30 GB. I can still play the game without the update but it keeps starting the download automatically when I start the game. Ignoring this though...the game is amazing.

The collectors edition is a must-own for any DOOM fan, the steel book has great artwork, the box itself is also very high quality, and the statue is the icing on the cake. It holds immense amounts of accurate details and looks great on a shelf when the lights are off with its red LED base.
