Avoid This UNWARRANTIED Failure

Bought 2 of these. Both have led's failing in large numbers within 3 months time. As LED's are usually very long life it is most likely a PCB issue. Corsairs "warranty" is for you to pay them $30.00 for the privilege of returning their failed product to repair it. In plain talk it has no warranty!

Unreliable No Warrenty

Quality problem, not worth to purchase

Use 7 months! There are so many dead LEDs on the main keyboard that I might as well turn off the LEDs. Stay away from this product if you need LED backlit

Corsair Vengeance K95

Corsair is back with a Vengeance, and I couldn't be happier. The Corsair Vengeance K95 ($149.99) replaces the Corsair Vengeance K90 as the company's premier gaming keyboard , and the mechanical keyboard keeps nearly everything I loved about the original and steps it up a notch with several welcome...

High-quality mechanical keyboard is great for gaming or typing; Individual key backlighting; Numerous programmable macros; Built-in media controls; Detachable palmrest.

No color options for backlight.

As an avid fan of Corsair keyboards, having previously owned the K70 and now using the previous generation K95 with my personal set-up, eager anticipation is the flavour of the day as I dive into a review of Corsair's latest K95 offering.

Corsair K95 Platinum Keyboard

With the Corsair K95 Platinum, the company introduces an upgraded microcontroller to the keyboard series which enables improved RGB lighting, dedicated macro keys and hardware playback. Also included is a lightbar and USB passthrough. The K95 Platinum doesn't come cheap though at $199.

The best mechanical keyboard we've tested to date for bridging work and serious play, the K95 packs tons of macro functionality and stunning, customizable backlighting in a classy, sturdy-feeling model equally suited to home offices and gaming dens.

Rigid aluminum-frame design; Backlighting is customizable per key (and classy-looking; 18 macro keys enable up to 54 shortcuts; Easy-to-use macro software; with hardware-execution option

Aluminum baseplate tends to show off dust; No choice of switch types (MX Red only

Corsair K95 RGB Platinum Review

Super responsive keys; Fully loaded with all the extras a serious gamer needs; Ability to save three profiles locally to the keyboard is useful;

Super expensive;

Corsair Vengeance K95 keyboard review

When we tested the Vengeance series keyboards initially, we were impressed. The same sentiment applied to the K90 and the K70 again is a product that brings a smile to my face. The Corsair Vengeance K95 however is not a completely new design keyboard though, it's the evolution of the Vengeance...

A real delight of a keyboard!

-aluminium backplate is a bit of a "fingerprint magnet," as one other user stated, but, as he also stated, it can easily be wiped clean with a cloth and a bit of denatured alcohol; personally, it's not much of a problem

amazingly smooth key presses

-as several other people have noted; the keys with more than one symbol on them are not evenly backlit; though this really doesn't bother me

Its a beautiful keyboard! I love the feel of it, don't want or need the G keys, but the G70 seems the palm rest isn't wide enough, the palm rest is a weird soft coating, actually feels quite nice. I prefer the red switches, altho still a bit loud, have ordered some o-rings, just more added expense.

Very nice looking and feeling; scrolling volume control; Sleek aluminum chassis with nice back lighting

Mechanical keys are expensive and loud
