Introduction Today, we are checking out the Corsair Vengeance K95 mechanical gaming keyboard. As you may have already known, Corsair ventured into gaming peripherals quite recently.

The K95 keyboard was built on the solid platform the K90 had but with some important and eye-candy additions like fully mechanical layout which integrates MX Red switches from Cherry or key-by-key customizable backlighting.

We recently reviewed Corsair's K70 mechanical keyboard, the successor to the K60. Today we'll take a closer look at the K70's bigger sibling, the K90. It is replacing the Corsair K95, and is also equipped with mechanical Cherry MX Red backlit keys.

-aluminium backplate is a bit of a "fingerprint magnet," as one other user stated, but, as he also stated, it can easily be wiped clean with a cloth and a bit of denatured alcohol; personally, it's not much of a problem

Its a beautiful keyboard! I love the feel of it, don't want or need the G keys, but the G70 seems the palm rest isn't wide enough, the palm rest is a weird soft coating, actually feels quite nice. I prefer the red switches, altho still a bit loud, have ordered some o-rings, just more added expense.

Mechanical keys are expensive and loud

Works ok but this model has been superseded by the color RGB model. The drivers for the new model do not work with this one so you have to hunt a lot to get working drivers to be able to program the keys.
