Looked on the net everywhere for this product for my son for Xmas, found it on the John Lewis site, which was a better price than any other site owing to an extra 10% off. I found this has a really nice winter scent to it and would definitely recommend this to others. It's a good everyday aftershave as it stays around all day but isn't overpowering and is a good addition to my collection and will be well used.

Mandarin, Cardamom, Rum, Pepper, Jasmine, Patchouli, Cognac, Oud, Cedar, Musk. Okay, so I'm guessing that the designer houses feel the need to add the oud note in their accord listings these days. The "oud" in Klein's Encounter is reminiscent to barbershop implementations the likes of Black Elixir.

I got this scent for my husband this Valentine's Day...both he and I love the smell and I am hard to please when it comes to fragrances. It's just perfect!!

I purchased Encounter because I like other Calvin Klein fragrances. I like the scent however, it does not last very long. Many times after applying it, the fragrance was gone before I got out the door. Maybe good for office wear.

Traditionally I've always enjoyed Calvin Klein fragrances and they all seem to smell quite familiar. Encounter is a nice refreshing change to a typical Calvin Klein in my opinion.
