Produces clear labels; easy to use and to set up. Replacement tape is pricy; like printer toner you soon wind up paying more for the replacement tape than what you paid for the printer itself. I would have liked the label maker to accept wider tape so larger labels can be generated.
I got this to replace a basic Brother label maker I've had for many years. This is a similar type, uses the same tapes, and has a similar look. Generally, I like it, and it makes nice labels, as I expected.
Saw somebody using one of these the other day and went straight out to buy one. Simple to set up and produces really good looking labels. Only drawbacks are that it is fiddly to strip the backing tape from the labels and the cost of new cartridges is quite high.
Excellent
very good labeller its very good for children school bags bottles etc very nice adhesive on the back of the labels very clear labelling going label crazy .
i dont dislike anything
none
I got this labeler for $15, it was a great buy for the price. It has a lot of features which is great, but you have to look at the guide every time to see what your options are, because there's too much to remember. I got it setup quickly and it works great!
Could be easier to figure out how to make symbols and punctuation but other than that it is a real breeze to use. I like the fact it doesn't have a cord and can be used anywhere. I can't wait to try new colored and patterned tapes.
Bright Colors; Easy To Change; Good Value; Strong Adhesive
Typesetting
A lot more features than I need, its the first labeler I had to read instructions for. Another person had a battery issue - I too received a "Low Battery" message after printing my first label.
This prints well, and easy to type in. However, it takes me 5 minutes to unpeel the back so I can stick it on. I have seen tapes that are cut down the middle so you bend them a bit and they are easy to peel off like a bandaid.
