The Battlefield franchise has deteriorated over the years but it finally looks like DICE have truely lost their way. Game play is extremely basic, audio lacks depth, map availability is incredibly poor and the campaign is extremely short. Poor value for money. The developers should be ashamed.

Battlefield's traditional strengths are prominent as ever in the franchise's return to World War II, but it's not without a few missteps. Every time I settle into a new Battlefield game, I'm reminded that war is fundamentally about breaking things: cities, livelihoods, families.

DICE finds itself back in familiar territory with Battlefield V; the World War II setting somehow feels remarkably fresh this time around despite once being a ubiquitous backdrop for shooters.

I bought this for my partner as a late Xmas present, he is playing it on a 4k ultra hd tv and the picture quality is amazing for a game it's so life like. It's really is like watching a film if you didn't know it was a game

I think this game is fine for kids 11 and up. But, you would have to trust them not to cuss at school. One good thing about this game is that there is educational value of the hardworking soldiers of ww2 and the effort just to keep America and millions of Jews safe from the Nazis.

There is no doubt that the Battlefield series keeps going from strength to strength, and V is the strongest entry to date. DICE may have played it safe with small tweaks to the formula since its previous outing, but those improvements make for one of the best multiplayer shooters you can play right now. Picking a winner between this and Black Ops 4 is difficult, kind of like comparing heavily armed apples and oranges. They both have different playstyles that each pulls off incredibly well. If you like your FPS action fast and focused on individual talent, then CoD is still the way to go. But, if you’re looking for a slightly slower, vastly more tactical experience, look no further than Battlefield V.

Guns have an incredible feel to them; Looks and sounds insanely good; Addictive multiplayer, built for the long haul; Progression system ties it altogether nicely;

Menu system is a bit of a mess; Stealth is a bit naff; Single player won't satisfy everyone;
