Battlefield V Review

T he Battlefield series has long been the king of online conflict on a massive scale. Nobody has done it better than DICE over the years, at least not at the scope that they strive for. What we have with Battlefield V is something that's wholly expected.

Battlefield V Xbox One review: Masterful multiplayer meets sorry story campaign

The hype going into Battlefield V certainly feels a little stunted when compared to 2016's Battlefield 1, at a time when gamers seemed fatigued by the volume of sci-fi shooters the big publishers had been pumping out.

Huge maps with unparalleled cinematic shooting; Lots of small tweaks improve competitive play; Stunning visuals on Xbox One X

War Stories campaign content is weak; Battle royale mode isn't expected to launch until March; 2019; Rough on polish

Xbox One Review - 'Battlefield V'

Buy Battlefield V Aside from the football games (both FIFA and Madden) , the Battlefield series is probably EA's most important franchises. Despite the more recent attempt to annualize it in the form of Battlefield: Hardline , the series has been a consistent release every two years.

V for victory

V for victory I also have to give a shout-out to the new spotting system, which is now primarily relegated to the Recon (sniper) class. (You can use a scoped tool or "tag" foes by landing shots.

Battlefield's traditional strengths are prominent as ever in the franchise's return to World War II, but it's not without a few missteps. Every time I settle into a new Battlefield game, I'm reminded that war is fundamentally about breaking things: cities, livelihoods, families.

Great picture quality

I bought this for my partner as a late Xmas present, he is playing it on a 4k ultra hd tv and the picture quality is amazing for a game it's so life like. It's really is like watching a film if you didn't know it was a game

Mix of Battlefront & COD

The Battlefield franchise has deteriorated over the years but it finally looks like DICE have truely lost their way. Game play is extremely basic, audio lacks depth, map availability is incredibly poor and the campaign is extremely short. Poor value for money. The developers should be ashamed.

Battlefield V - Xbox One

After Battlefield 1, I was afraid that BFV was going to follow more of the same, but I was wrong. The graphics on Xbox One X are amazing, best on console and pretty close to PC. Controls are tight as ever and the gameplay is very fluid.

Game Review: Battlefield V

To say that Battlefield V has had an uphill battle before the game actually released is an understatement. I won't go into the ins and outs of why fans were unhappy with the pre-release reveals, as I just want to concentrate on what we're here for, to talk about the review of the game.
