Plug and Play
My podcast is sounding great with the addition of the AT2020. No additional applications or downloads to get it running. Highly recommended!

I am impressed
First off, I am not a professional in this field. In fact this is the most expensive microphone that I have ever used. However that means I went into this blind and I have a pretty different perspective in this field. This prouduct was very easy to use. I just plugged it in and it worked.

This is really handy
What is great about this USB model is its travel efficient. Using the converter to connect to your computer and dealing with cord and cables is such a hassle. The sound quality is really great for this price range and I love the fact you can monitor yourself thru the microphone. Such a good touch.

The Audio-Technica AT2020USB+ captures clear sound for both music and podcasting, but cheaper microphones offer better audio quality.

- The difficulty to record percussion instruments or sources at very high volumes without digitally clipping the mic due to the reason stated above

A solid microphone could use some extra features
The AT2020 is a great USB condenser mic. The quality you will get from it is truely excellent. Fantastic range and clarity, plug and play setup. I would recommend picking up a pop filter if you plan to use it as it will pickup those sounds from your voice and its important to eliminate them.
