Rubber pads on bottom stick out too far and mouse does not slide properly.

Looks Great

- Rubber pieces on the bottom stick out at different lengths causing mouse not to slight out jump around and get stuck on desk, even with mouse pad; I'm hoping the rubber wears out that's why I'm giving it 3 stars not 2

Asus ROG Gladius II

We tested the Gladius II on a number of games, including Grim Dawn, DOTA 2, Far Cry 4, Endless Space 2, and Europa Universalis IV. While the mouse moved easily on its four rubber cushions, it proved a bit heavy for DOTA 2 combat.

Detachable cord; Attractive, ergonomic design; Excellent optical sensor; Sniper-mode button; Lift-distance wizard; Extra pair of switches

Pricey for what you get; only three stored profiles, and not executable-specific. Only two DPI settings. No separate X/Y axis controls. Buggy, primitive macro editor. Rubber grips are slick; frenetic lighting effects can't be slowed

Asus ROG Gladius II Review

The original Asus ROG Gladius made its debut in 2014. It quickly became a popular gaming mouse, but its feature set understandably has shown signs of wear over the years as other, newer mice came along. Just how you update a mouse to make it appeal, not merely to those seeking a new one, but to those who already an older model of the same unit, is an art in itself. When your marketing consultants and their focus groups suggest moving beyond the original design, what do you do? What do you jettison, and what do you keep? And what features do you retain, but improve? In our experience, the answers to these questions have resulted in upgraded mice that range from complete redesigns, to mostly cosmetic changes intended to bring a solid but aging peripheral to the attention of a new audience. On that scale, the $99.99 Gladius II fits somewhere in the middle. Asus has changed little, but what it has changed may be sufficient to interest gamers seeking a new mouse—and even owners of t...

Dated configuration software and a high price hamper this general gaming mouse, but its optical sensor and micro switches are of very high quality.

Asus ROG Gladius II Review

The ROG Gladius II is Asus' high-end gaming mouse that includes some pretty hardcore extre features. It features RGB lighting that creates an underglow effect for added desk appeal, and can be customised to match personal taste.

Accurate tracking; Gorgeous RGB lighting; Good weighting; Highly customisable; Great build quality

Expensive; Clunky software; No weight adjustment

If only it was cheaper....

Important Tech Specs: Dimensions L 126 x W 67 x H 45 mm, Sensor Type: Optical, Connection Type: Wired, Weight: 110g w/o cable Pro: - Sensor: Super accurate optical sensor that is on par with others (I have compared it with Rival 700, Steelseries Sensei & Zowie FK1).

Very funny mouse! It comes with 3 buttons on the left side of the mouse that can be easily customized. One of these buttons I usually call (and others) for "sniper button". By default, it is set to reduce the mouse's dpi so that you can more easily target your heads.

ASUS ROG Gladius II Mouse Review

The ASUS ROG Gladius II is the long-awaited successor to the original Gladius mouse which we reviewed in 2014. Back with a vengeance, the Gladius II sports a new sensor, support for ASUS' Aura lighting technology, and hot-swappable Omron switches.

Very comfortable; Replacement switches are included; RGB lighting is top-notch; Pixart PMW 3360 sensor; Sniper button is a good addition

ROG Armoury is not quite as comprehensive as Razer Synapse; Can only set 2 DPI stages

Good function, doesn't jive with Aura 100%

I bought this mouse to pair with my Asus mobo and GPU and the AURA SYNC lighting system. While this is AURA enabled and is picked up by the software it also has it's own software called ROG Armoury which you use for macro programming and separate mouse lighting controls.

Looks cool.

I like the look of this but that is about it. I had it for a few weeks but the right mouse button is horrible. to easy to click I even changed it with things that came in the box and it got worse. Sometimes the right mouse gets stuck as well. Waste of $100...
