The camera arrived 3 days before my Alaska cruise so I didn't get much time to familiarize myself with it. I used it for pictures and videos during the trip and was very happy with the quality and ease of use. Now... if I could only figure out the wifi portion of the camera, I'll be complete! :-)

Really strong hardwaring product, allows AW130 to be ised in various siruations and activities. The bag is also a nice feature as can carry the accesories and camera whilst keeping dry but also enough space for other items. e.g wallet, keys etc

The Nikon AW130 has an excellent depth rating and is capable of snapping photos deeper than a snorkeling trip. The camera is rugged and durable, but the trade-off is a more limited performance and higher noise in the images.

The Nikon COOLPIX A130 is the most waterproof compact currently on the market. With a depth rating of 30 meters it'll go twice as deep as the Olympus TOUGH TG4 and TG860. If you want to dive deeper with a camera you'll need to think about a conventional model with an expensive waterproof housing.

Solidly-built with many excellent functions. However, manual could provide more Step-by-step instructions for the novice photographer.

i sent back my nikon aw130 because of: -the blu-ish underwater pics (compared to what i was seeing with my eyes and to the canon s120's pics i was shooting with, at the same time/place); -the lack of continous shooting when in uderwater mode (while it was available in "pet" mode!).
