If you've been on the fence about picking up Microsoft's Surface Laptop, now might be the time to take the leap. Before now, if you weren't a big fan of slate grey you'd be out of luck, but boy do I have some news for you. New colours for the Surface Laptop. Yay!

I'm returning this product. I received a clearly refurbished, used product. The battery in the pen as well as the laptop has run out on first boot. Box was already opened. A few dings on the product.

The Surface Laptop impresses on style, stuns on battery life, and sports one of the best laptop screens to date. But our quibbles (the fabric-covered keyboard, and a few other issues) overshadow it, in a field crowded with excellent premium portables.

Microsoft's attempt at a traditional clamshell laptop leaves us a little conflicted. The look, feel, and usability of the is outstanding. The Alcantara-covered keyboard is unique and a pleasant surface (literally) to rest your palms on for long term use.

We are a commercial contractor and we have used I-Pads in the past and still have some in operation, but I am really anti-I anything, so we decided to try these out. After about a month of use, my field guys are loving the Surface Book.
