Some observations in passing: It is a relief to have a camera whose lens does not pop out if you hit the wrong button. Also, picture review can be activated by pressing the play button without turning the picture taking mode on, which is a real convenience.

A stunning design, equally impressive photos and genuinely pocket-sized too

I was going to buy the X10...Im glad i held out for the XF1. It takes such natural pictures even in low light and still pin sharp. Some great features too like the single color filter..i love it.

Cant Stop Using It

I have used DSLRs and although I love the photo quality I have a hard time getting myself to carry one. Now this camera is a different proposition. I just stick it in my pocket and it is ready for any action.

Awesome camera with great design. I brought this camera to banff and had lots of amazing photo done with it. Good size for travelling and great photo quality. (of course can't compare to DSLR) Really satisfy with it!! Recommended to purchase an extra battery.

Very good jpeg shooter capturing lots of detail. A great camera that is very capable in it's own right and as a great training camera for those who want to learn about post processing in jpeg and raw. I added a tripod, extra class 10 SD cards and extra batteries. Carumba!

Go for it. Images are sharp and noise free. With every click your love for this camera gets stronger. I can never find anything better at this price. This is my first Fuji camera and may be last as it is going to stay with me forever.
