Ugly (IMO); Zoom Problems

The fujifilm XF1 is an attractive high-end compact camera with easy handling thanks to a simple layout and clever E-Fn button. With a larger-than-normal sensor, the XF1 has a solid low-light performance, too.

The retro styling makes this a very cool camera. I have only used it on two occasions, and what i see is that it takes better pictures on the day time, and at night, there are a lot of out of focus images. At night taking more then one shot of any subject is a good idea.

Very good jpeg shooter capturing lots of detail. A great camera that is very capable in it's own right and as a great training camera for those who want to learn about post processing in jpeg and raw. I added a tripod, extra class 10 SD cards and extra batteries. Carumba!

Looks amazing and the body of the unit is very well made, although have doubts as to the long term durability of the lens mechanism. When the lens is extended a lot of play/sideways movement. Also a lot of play in the lens when moving from locked to standby/zoom positions.
