Looks amazing and the body of the unit is very well made, although have doubts as to the long term durability of the lens mechanism. When the lens is extended a lot of play/sideways movement. Also a lot of play in the lens when moving from locked to standby/zoom positions.

The Fujifilm XF1 is a premium point and shoot camera with expert features and a great retro design. It has a few quirks, but overall it produces high-quality images consistently and offers full manual control.

A large sensor makes for detail-rich images and impressive low-light photography

A manually operated lens makes this camera slower than other point and shoot options

Fujifilm's stylish XF1 an enthusiast compact for auto snapshooters

There are camera designs people tolerate in order to get the features and performance they want. Likewise, there are good-looking cameras that aren't necessarily the best performers.

The Fujifilm XF1 looks great and can be a lot of fun to shoot; It has a fast f1.8 maximum aperture and captures in raw and raw plus JPEG.

Some of its best photos come at the cost of control and resolution; The lens gets much slower when zoomed in.

You'll love this case!

The Fuji XF1 fits into this binocular type carrying case perfectly! Reminds me of a product from a time gone by.The case is both stylish and protective of its contents. What more can one ask for? Do not hesitate to buy this case for your XF1.

Fujifilm XF1 review

The fujifilm XF1 is an attractive high-end compact camera with easy handling thanks to a simple layout and clever E-Fn button. With a larger-than-normal sensor, the XF1 has a solid low-light performance, too.

Fujifilm XF1 - Review

At first i was quite disappointed, the zoom makes the lens really slow, the look of it isn't what i like but the overall quality is really great. It took me some time to get with this as i used to take photos with professional cameras but i'd say that i'm surprised how this little thing makes a...

Easy; Light; Great Quality; As Good as a professional one; Cheap; quite resistant

Ugly (IMO); Zoom Problems

Fujifilm XF1 Digital Camera Review makes it clear that this retro-styled compact camera is not only for serious photographers, but also for those who are in love taking pictures anytime, anywhere.

Compact; Comfortable to hold; Stylish looks; Fast and quick response; Full manual controls; Good image quality

Screen resolution is a little low; Bit pricey; Noise at higher ISO; Flash does not work in silent mode

Very sharp and noise free

Go for it. Images are sharp and noise free. With every click your love for this camera gets stronger. I can never find anything better at this price. This is my first Fuji camera and may be last as it is going to stay with me forever.

Good high end P&S

Fuji XF1 is a high end P&S with lot of manual settings. The camera has a unique way to turn it on manually. This requires some practices to turn it on quickly and smoothly. It does save more power with this design.

The Fujifilm XF1 is one of the more interesting looking cameras currently on the market. Not only does the synthetic leather covering give the XF1 a unique design, but its boxy shape and aluminum trim contribute to a retro look for this camera.
