Apple iPhone SE 256GB Black MXVT2X/A review

The iPhone SE is a really smart phone (no pun intended) as it doesn’t have all the flashy specs and lacks the pizzaz of Android phones at this price but is still a better phone than competition. Why? Simply because no other phone will give you this level of performance in this price segment.

Apple iPhone SE 256GB Black MXVT2X/A review

Apple iPhone SE (2020): The iPhone SE gets an upgrade at last and it’s now as powerful as the iPhone 11

Impressive single camera; As fast as an iPhone 11; Compact and lightweight

Poor battery life; Only one camera; Small screen

The Apple iPhone SE prices start at Rs 42,500 and that is before you take advantage of an HDFC Bank cashback offer which brings the effective price down to Rs 38,900.

Apple iPhone SE 256GB Black MXVT2X/A review

NEW DELHI: Is it the smaller iPhone? Is it the cheaper iPhone? We would argue it’s neither. The Apple iPhone SE is another iPhone, sure, but it’s small because other phones are too big and it’s cheap because other iPhones are too expensive.

Apple iPhone SE 256GB (PRODUCT)RED MXVV2X/A review

In playback, the iPhone SE (2020) delivers a good overall performance, with precise attack, few artifacts, and well-balanced midrange and treble frequencies. Curiously enough, as with the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro Max, the stereo channels are inverted when audio is played back through the Music app in...

Good dynamics performance with precise attack; Few artifacts overall; Well-balanced midrange and treble; Good maximum and minimum volume performance; Excellent timbre performance; Artifacts almost absent; even at high SPL; Good envelope and; signal-to-noise ratio; in every app; Consistency in each,...

Inverted stereo in landscape orientation (Music app); Tonal balance lacks bass response; Slight lack of low- and high-end extension; Pumping can occur on vocal content; and a slow automatic gain control is perceivable at high SPL

Apple iPhone SE 256GB Black MXVT2X/A review

A perfectly fine iPhone which lacks a few flagship features, with serious performance capacity slightly hindered by poor battery

App store; Smooth operating

Battery life isn’t great

Apple iPhone SE 256GB Black MXVT2X/A review

This is the phone to get if you just want a new iPhone that will last you a few years, but don’t want to pay a lot for it. The iPhone SE 2020 offers ‘decent but not top-end’ performance: a good camera, enough power, a great App Store to plunder and a lighter iPhone than recent models.

Lightweight frame; Low price for iPhone; Powerful chipset

Battery life could be better; Old screen technology; No headphone jack

Apple iPhone SE 256GB Black MXVT2X/A review

With the iPhone SE, Apple has released an attractive smartphone that shines with a fast processor, a great screen, fast Wi-Fi and a long update period. Additionally, it is waterproof and compatible with wireless charging.

bright; color-accurate display; snappy SoC; supports Wi-Fi 6 and a wide range of LTE frequencies; IP67 certification; wireless charging; lightweight and slim; good locating capabilities

weak power adapter; non-expandable storage; poor screen-to-body ratio; only a single-camera; mediocre call quality; only 12 months of warranty

Apple iPhone SE 256GB Black MXVT2X/A review

While it may lack the design clout of more recent iPhones and is missing creature comforts such as an OLED display and Face ID, the iPhone SE 2020 is world-class in almost every other regard, and the fact that it can be purchased for £400 is nothing less than amazing.
