iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are one of the most interesting iPhone updates Apple has released in the past few years. From a purely aesthetic point of view, we'd say the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are certainly the most attractive iPhone models that Apple has put forth since the original iPhone 4;...
Apple iPhone 8+ Plus (256GB, Silver) - Excellent review
This wasn’t supposed to be the year of the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus ( available at Amazon ) . There's no denying the appeal of the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus: They're posh, exquisitely-crafted devices with powerful hardware, streamlined software, and some of the best camera experiences the...
Apple iPhone 8 Plus
The Apple iPhone 8+ is a larger version of the iPhone 8. With a bigger screen and a superior camera, it's the best iPhone of the current generation, but also the most expensive. Compared with the 7+, the 8+ offers more memory, a faster chip and wireless charging.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus Review: A fine phone, but not the exciting iPhone
The iPhone 8 Plus is an interesting beast. It's the safety phone. Hopefully representing the last of its kind, because Apple is obviously ready to move on. Apple is also a victim of their own success though. The transition to the iPhone X will take a little time.- The most powerful phone hardware of the year
- 4k/60FPS video in half the file size
- Wireless charging based on an actual standard
- Battery life continues to suffer, Not the most durable
- Worn and dated design, Flagship pricing, but not Apple's crown jewel for 2017
From the outside the iPhone 8 looks almost identical to the iPhone 7 but there are enough new features and improvements to make the latest model much better than its predecessor. But, in a first for Apple, there is also a better iPhone – the iPhone X – about to be released in a matter of weeks.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus Review
It's that time of the year again – Apple's firmly established yearly release cycle means today we assess the iPhone 8 Plus. The current flagship, though due to be usurped by the iPhone X very soon, the 8 Plus boasts a new A11 Bionic chip, a dual-camera set up plus a new glass back.- Great camera(s)
- Very fast
- Good display
- Uninspired design looks very dated now
- Software is very samey
- Price of 256GB model is right in iPhone X territory
Apple iPhone 8 Plus Review: Evolution Over Revolution
About a month ago, Apple announced their latest flagship smartphone lineup at the company's annual September iPhone launch event. For the first time ever, not just two, but three new iPhones were unveiled, namely the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the bezel-less iPhone X.- A11 Bionic is the most powerful chip in any smartphone
- Top-of-the-line camera setup
- iOS 11 optimization
- True Tone display
- Wireless charging
- Fast charging
- Slightly better battery life than its predecessor
- Ageing design
- Outdated Full HD IPS panel
- No headphone jack
- No fast charger provided in the box
- Expensive
If there's an iPhone to buy right now, it is the iPhone 8 Plus. It is quite unusual to start a review with what seems like a verdict. But, there seems to be no illusion about which is the best Apple smartphone to buy until the iPhone X is out.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus review: Till the iPhone X comes, this is the best
Apple iPhone 8 Plus is an upgrade on the iPhone 7 Plus, and sports one major design change in the form of a glass back. But is there more to this phone?- I have used the, It's really powerful under the hood and made to take on the challenges of a dual camera, ARkit apps and 4K video recording
- The phone handles everything with ease and despite getting a bit warm at times, has no issues with performance.
