iPhone 7 Plus review

Why would you buy an iPhone 7 Plus over the iPhone 7 Especially since it's considerably more expensive than the iPhone 7 and, in many respects, is a very similar phone.

It's faster than its predecessor, has a better screen and more storage, and it's water-resistant. The new dual-lens camera is very good and the 2x optical zoom works brilliantly. About the only thing that hasn't really changed is the exterior design.

Apple iPhone 7 Plus Review

Somewhat akin to Intel, Apple has trained consumers on its "tick-tock" cadence of releasing a newly designed iPhone and following it up a year later with an optimized "s" variant. That's been the formula since the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS were released in 2008 and 2009, respectively.
Pros:
  • Blazing fast A10 Fusion SoC
  • higher-capacity storage options
  • IP67 dust and liquid protection
  • improved camera system
  • Taptic Engine is very convincing at simulating a physical button press
  • slightly larger battery
Cons:
  • Poor quality secondary (stereo) speaker
  • third year with the same design
  • no headphone jack -- which didn't bother me but is a point of contention for some

Apple iPhone 7 Plus Smartphone Review

The 9th generation of the iPhone also leaves a good impression and remains one of the best premium smartphones you can get. Still, you notice that the iPhone 7 Plus is an evolutionary update. The revolution is expected for next year, which will be the 10th anniversary of the iPhone.
Pros:
  • very sophisticated chassis
  • protected against water and dust
  • comprehensive sensor equipment
  • many mobile frequencies
  • intuitive software with useful apps
  • high WLAN transfer rates
  • good GPS accuracy
  • very good cameras
  • very precise control elements
  • Retina display with great contrast
  • great viewing...
Cons:
  • only 12 months warranty
  • no 3.5 mm headphone jack
  • NFC only for Apple Pay
  • pretty expensive
  • no microSD-slot
  • voice quality not perfect
  • noticeable warming
  • speakers only average

iPhone 7 Plus review: it's the best phone without a headphone jack ever

I asked on Twitter what people might want to see from this review, and the consensus seemed to be that people want to know if it's worth upgrading from the iPhone 6s/6s Plus. I would say yes, depending on what you want from a phone.

Used as Demo Apple iPhone 7 Plus 256GB Jet Black (6 month warranty + 100% Genuine) review

The iPhone 7 Plus is one of the best point-and-shoot cameras ever -- and it's a great phone, too.
Pros:
  • Dual rear cameras delivers true 2x optical zoom, with a cool bokeh Portrait mode. Battery lasts longer than last year&#x27
  • s model, and longer than iPhone 7. Water resistant. Fast. Bigger storage options include 256GB model for serious photographers.
Cons:
  • There&#x27
  • s no standard headphone jack: you&#x27
  • ll have to use Lightning, or the included adapter, or go wireless. Design is showing its age, as competing phones squeeze a 5.5-inch screen into smaller, sexier bodies. And it&#x27
  • s really expensive.

The iPhone 7 Plus is the best iPhone money can buy, hands down. Like the iPhone 7, it's not an essential upgrade if you have an iPhone 6s Plus that you're happy with, or you want to hold out for the 2017 iPhone, which will be the 10th anniversary and, rumor has it, the big switch to OLED .
Pros:
  • Dual-lens camera takes great photos
  • Longest battery life of any iPhone
  • Water-resistant
Cons:
  • No headphone jack
  • can't charge and listen to wired headphones at the same time
