A (3D) touch above: The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus reviewed
Every two years, Apple redesigns the iPhone. And in between each new design is an "S" model, one that looks basically the same as the previous version but overhauls the insides to keep things fresh. 2015 is an S year.
Pros:
- 3D Touch is still new
- but once users get used to it and developers have time to add support to their apps it's a genuinely useful feature
- The A9 is much faster than the A8 and totally resolves the Plus' minor GPU performance issues.

The bigger picture
Just like its more compact cousin, the iPhone 6s Plus brings superior imaging, 3D Touch, a beast of a chipset and double the RAM and those surely make it a worthy upgrade. Plus, the screen size and resolution help Apple compete in a segment clearly dominated by Android.
