A number of high profile news stories emerged soon after the iPhone 5's release. These ranged from the metallic back and side chipping and revealing the aluminium beneath to issues with battery life and the Apple Maps fiasco. We go into more detail about the maps app further on.

This is a great phone to have with lots of important and critical improvements to the iPhone 4S when it comes to size, weight and performance. So it is currently a top tier smartphone with competition. The question people ask, is whether they should upgrade their phones to it or not.

It's expensive and one gets a feeling that iPhone 6 might be the way to look forward if you already have an iPhone 5, but for non-iPhone users, this is the one.

iPhone 5s 16gb
This was my first time getting a phone so I went with the newest and latest iphone 5s gold. I actually really liked it in the beginning and I still do. I loveeeeee all the features it includes as well as siri. So much better than a blackberry but lower than Samsung.

Apple is Awesome
The size is perfect for my uses. The styling is smart. The setup is so easy and has tied into my home wireless easily. I like the fact that the pictures can be put into folders which my 3S could not do - or I did not know how to do it. The two way camera is a big step forward for this old guy.

Apple iPhone 5S review
The iPhone 5S is no longer part of Apple's smartphone lineup. That's now comprised of the iPhone 6 , 6 Plus, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Effectively the iPhone 5S has been replaced by the new iPhone SE, reviewed (and shown in the video above).

Feels like a good phone
I bought this a few days back. My daughter has an iPhone 7 but it's just a bit big for me, so I decided to buy this. It's an excellent phone. It charges like lightening. The apps and features are excellent. The sound and visuals are crisp. It feels like this phone will be around for a while.
