9.7-inch iPad 2018

The new iPad 2018 is the cheapest tablet in Apple's range, and it looks just like any other iPad from the past five years. It should be boring. But it isn't. It packs the powerful A10 Fusion processor, costs just £319/$329 (for the entry-level 32GB Wi-Fi model) and it supports the Apple Pencil.

Great value; Slim and light; yet powerful; Apple Pencil compatible; iOS is the best tablet operating system

Reflective screen; Average rear camera

Best price VS features and performance tablet on the market!

Fast, responsive, easy on the eyes, packed with features and, thanks to iOS's small number of devices, compatible with almost all apps. A pleasure to use (for all tasks from media to word processing (with the right case - I recommend the Logitech keyboard case)) and a device that has replaced my...

Replacement for scruffy old one.

Once again I am a proud owner of another Apple device. I have never had a problem with any of these devices and would recommend to anyone. Never will be cheapest on the market but always will be the best.

iPad 9.7 (2018 model)

I'd only owned an iPad mini before this one because of probability. But I went ahead and got the 9.7" tablet, and I'm not disappointed. Feels great in the hands and super thin, which means that by the time you wrap it in a case, it'll feel pretty comfortable.

Great upgrade

Bought as an upgrade to an iPad Air 1 which was beginning to show its age. Performance gain is very noticeable and also a Decent price for the 128gb storage.

Tablet for all events

I bought an upgrade from my iPad mini wanting to use the feature of taking notes, using the I pencil, at meetings and conferences. This is excellent! It's fast responsive as you would expect. I'm loving the graphics and features also that it's upgrade from 16gb( which wad my budget) to 32gb.

Apple iPad (2018) review: Pencil time

This iPad retains the same design as the 2017 release but adds an important new feature: Pencil support. While Apple is happy for anyone to buy the new tablet, it's clear there is a strong focus on education and what a bevy of these coming to the classroom can mean.

Affordable price; Pencil support (and third-party stylus support; Works in the same way as Pro models; A10 processor

No Face ID; No ProMotion or True Tone; No Smart Connectors

It's my first regular-sized iPad. I had two minis before this and I was a little worried that I will not like having to hold a bigger tablet. So far, I am pleased. It was the affordable price paired with the 128 G storage and compatibility with the Apple Pencil that convinced me to get this.
