Apple iPad (2017) Review
With its epic battery life, speedy performance and brilliant display, the 2017 iPad is the best tablet for the money and one of the best tablets overall. It may be a tad heftier than the competition, and it doesn't break new ground, but people who want a long-lasting, large-screen slate with plenty...
New 2017 iPad Review: Apple Offers a Budget Tablet
Apple's new 9.7-inch 2017 iPad doesn't come with a lot of surprises except for one, the $329 price tag Apple gave the 32GB model. It now competes with other budget tablets including the company's own
iPad 9.7in (2017) review
Quietly, and without the fanfare of a press event, Apple has launched its latest iPad, branded in most cases simply 'iPad'; the Air branding is no more.
Satisfied.
I purchased two, one for me and one for my daughter. I also purchased keyboard for both IPADS. My daughter & I both recommend them and our very happy with our purchase.
A pple had one major problem with their iPad range. The original tablets were good enough to last for years if kept in good condition, which is why the company introduced the Air and Pro ranges. Finally, after almost five years, the company launched the 5th-generation edition earlier in 2017.
iPad (2017) review: Perfect for first-time tablet buyers
Conclusion One other thing to point out is that the new iPad does not include the Smart Connecter found on Apple's two current iPad Pro models. As such, it is incompatible with the company's Smart Keyboard attachment.- Affordable price (for an Apple product
- Fast and capable A9 system-on-a-chip
- 1.3 million apps specifically designed for the iPad
- Non wide-gamut display that isn't fully laminated
- Dated camera technology
- Not compatible with Smart Keyboard or Apple Pencil
Apple iPad (2017)
What is an iPad for We think it's for web browsing, second-screen video watching, gaming, and reading. And for all of those uses, the 2017 iPad is excellent. Its A9 processor is even capable of video conferencing and low-key Microsoft Office work without a problem.- Great value
- Fast processor and Wi-Fi
- Easy to use
- Unrivaled app experience
- No strong reason for most earlier iPad owners to upgrade
Apple iPad (2017) Tablet Review
Old wine in new bottles – we hear this quite often when a manufacturer refreshes a supposedly old product. Especially when it is equipped with dated technology. This is also the case for Apple's latest iPad. The iOS tablet from 2017 is just that: recycled, dated hardware in an even older chassis.- bright display
- accurate colors
- precise touchscreen
- excellent build quality
- long battery runtime
- high browser performance
- outdated SoC
- very glossy screen
- old LTE standard
- slightly increased black value
- no support for Apple pencil

Apple iPad review (2017)
This is the base model of course, so if you want 128GB rather than 32GB of storage, you'll have to pay £429.
